A classical education uses time-tested and proven methods to teach students how to think critically and live virtuously.
The hybrid model combines classroom instruction days with guided days at home giving families time to enjoy learning together.
Heritage Classical Academy
HCA will serve students in grades 1 through 9 in the 2026-27 school year. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:30am-3:10pm) at Florence First Baptist Church for in-class instruction. At-home days will consist of assigned work based on the classroom lessons.
Our elementary grades are limited to 8 per class. Our middle and high school classes can have up to 12. Our application window will remain open as long as we have space. Once a grade level fills up, a wait list will start for that grade.
An additional half day of Enrichment Classes will be offered to both HCA students and other homeschoolers.
